Our Emotional Social Adjustment Program is a collaborative team of professionals which include our school principal, Jean Woods, our school psychologist, Steven VandenBerg, our ESAP English and social studies teacher, Penny Kelly, and myself. Our program is designed to offer students the structure and support they require to experience academic and social success. Each student receives a highly individualized continuum of services to ensure a positive junior high experience and to prepare them for the demands of high school. Please feel free to call or email me anytime.

About Me

I have been teaching in the Gilbert Public School District since January, 2016. I received my Bachelors of Science in Special Education through Northern Arizona University. Teaching is my greatest passion in life, and I strive to ensure the academic and social success of each student on campus. I believe students are most successful in a classroom environment that provides meaningful, hands-on learning opportunities that inspire student motivation, spark interest, and challenge each student to reach his or her highest potential. In addition to teaching math and science at DRJHS, I coach the junior high flag football and wrestling team.
