The Arizona Department of Education (ADE) has released the 2023-24 School Letter Grades. For the 2023-24 school year Gilbert Public Schools has achieved an ‘A’ letter grade for our school district. Further, all GPS schools have achieved either an ‘A’ or ‘B’ letter grade, rating them as excellent or highly performing by the Arizona Department of Education.

As we communicated at the beginning of this school year all of our students who ride a bus must have their Student ID Badges to ride the bus to and from school every day.

Governing Board President and GPS leader Sheila Uggetti passed away on Sunday, September 15, 2024, leaving a powerful legacy in the district and public education as a whole. On Tuesday, September 17th employees across the district will be wearing green for Sheila, representing her favorite holiday, St.Patrick’s Day, and an opportunity to honor a true friend who was an inspiration to so many, in education and life.
