Chess Club is open to players of all skill levels who want to learn the game, sharpen their strategy, and enjoy friendly competition. Students analyze openings, practice tactics, and compete in matches that build critical thinking, patience, and sportsmanship in a welcoming setting.

DRJHS Rock Band Club

Rock Band Club gives students the chance to learn, rehearse, and perform music together as a team. Whether you sing, play an instrument, or are brand-new and eager to learn, this club builds musicianship, confidence, and community. Students work together to create awesome performances for school and community events.

Rock Band Club meets every other Thursday from 3:30 - 4:30

Roaming Rattler's Club
Advisor: Kristy James

The Roaming Rattlers is an international travel club that gives families affordable opportunities to experience hands-on learning while traveling the world. Traveling is more than going to a place- it expands students' perspectives and exposes them to different cultures, food and languages while also making lifelong friends. By participating in our educational tours, students will grow in their confidence, growth mindset and cultural understanding. After joining our club, you will see the world differently than everyone else and have an advantage for success in an interconnected world.

You will be mentored by our Desert Ridge High School JagWire club members and will compete against other High Schoolers!

STEM Club

The STEM Club invites curious thinkers to explore science, technology, engineering, and math through hands-on projects and creative challenges. From coding and robotics to design builds and real-world problem solving, students collaborate, innovate, and bring big ideas to life in a fun, supportive environment.
